Scratch Score (“the app”, “we”) helps golfers track rounds using the scoring-zone method. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, and (if you use Sign in with Apple) your name. Used to create and secure your account.
• Your golf data: courses, tee sets, rounds, hole scores, putts, and related statistics you enter. Stored to provide the app’s core functionality and to sync across your devices.

We do not collect location, contacts, health data, or advertising identifiers. We do not use tracking, and we do not sell your data.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored in our backend (Supabase / PostgreSQL) and cached on your device for offline use. Row-level security ensures your data is accessible only to your authenticated account.

Third-party services

• Supabase — authentication, database, and sync infrastructure.
• Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In — optional authentication providers you choose.
• GolfCourseAPI — used to look up public course scorecard data when you search for a course.

These providers process the relevant data according to their own privacy policies.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion removes your account and all associated golf data from our servers and revokes any Sign in with Apple tokens. This action cannot be undone.

Data retention

We retain your data until you delete your account, after which it is removed from our production systems.

Children

Scratch Score is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
